Cleaning Regular Basis that will Lengthen the Appliances

Glass cooktops can scratch easily if using a wrong cookware or cleaning it incorrectly in scraping off burned-on spills, choosing the right cleaning products for cooktops which are safe to use in buffing and polishing the surface of cooktops after cooking. Using the right cleaner for cooktops can have a smooth range that won’t damage and the best cleaner to use is the one that manufacturer recommends. First, let the cooktops range Cool and then scrape the smudges because allowing the cooktops to cool before start cleaning can make it easy to take off all the particles that was left, put on some rubber gloves and gently scrape off burned-on crust from spills using a metal razor blade scraper. Using scraper blade on cooktops make the works easy but if an old razor will use then it can scratch the surface holding the blade at angled position to scrape. Shake the bottle cleaner and pour it on cooktops then rub gently on the surface vigorously using a sponge or soft cloth also a paper towel works too, remember, don’t use steel wool or an abrasive pad which can scratch it and once finished cleaning the cooktops wipe off all the residue and buff the cooktops with a paper towel to restore the shine that looks brand new.

Scraping melted plastic or spills with a high sugar content like cannamellis or dessert filling off the cooktops immediately and immediate attention on cooktops is needed which requires action before the cooktop cools completely because letting it cool can cause pitting which dulls the shine and permanently damages the cooktops surface. Use an oven mitt or pad to protect the hand from the hot surface then scrape it razor blade to remove as much of the mess as possible and after the cooktop cools down scrape off any remaining residue to clean it and polish the cooktops using a cleaning crème to polish the cooktops once a month which can prevent scratches. In preventing the scratches use only the pots and pans with smooth bottoms and keep the bottoms of to the cookware clean because burned-on residue can scratch the surface of the cooktops. Cleaning the bottom of pots and pans with a non-abrasive kitchen cleanser and when moving the pots and pans is to lift them don’t slide it.

Sliding cookware across the surface of cooktops can scratch it like cast iron and glass cookware can scratch cooktops the easily also aluminum and copper pots can leave metal marks when sliding them across the surface but if that happens, let the cooktops cool and clean the marks off with the crème because metal marks can become permanent on the cooktops if not treated immediately. Apply a small amount of cleaning cream to the area on the needed amount size then take a soft rag and rub the cream into the area where the spill was located because this cream will dry to a light haze similar to the wax on a car after that, wipe the cream off using a towel to the glass that should buff out to a bright shiny look if the slight stain remains on the glass cooktops repeat the process. Remember to clean the entire glass cooktops on a regular basis which is a good practice and it will lengthen the life of Mount Gravatt cooktops.
